Fire Emblem: Three Houses (2019)
Composers: Takeru Kanazaki, Hiroki Morishita, Rei Kondoh

Fire Emblem is a series where you train a small army of characters through turn-based battles on chess board-like battlefields. The series is known for exploring the relationships between these characters and featuring "permadeath", meaning a unit that dies in one battle cannot be used ever again, although games released since 2013 have an option to turn this off and play more casually. In Three Houses, the player is given a teaching position at a monastery where the three future rulers of three countries are all students, but war is brewing in the background.

Main Theme: The Edge of Dawn

Between Heaven and Earth (Rain)
Battle themes such as this one have two versions: Rain and Thunder. The Rain version is what is primarily heard; this plays while overviewing the map, making unit movements, and such. When a battle between two units is initiated, a short animation plays depicting the battle, and the music briefly switches to its Thunder counterpart. Thunder versions are much less melodic and extremely percussive, giving a sensation of adrenaline rushing as the battle takes place.

Between Heaven and Earth (Thunder)
Normally, the Thunder version isn't heard continuously like this, but see if you can match each section to the Rain version!

The Apex of the World (Mix)
One out of three possible final battle themes. This version intersperses the Rain and Thunder versions together, so that by the end you've heard all of both.
